Van driver furiously lashes out at car driver in road rage

A van driver unleashed a tirade of fury on another motorist while stopped at a busy intersection in Adelaide’s western suburbs Tuesday afternoon.

The viscous confrontation was caught on camera and shows the male charging towards the window of a driver before releasing two forceful blows.

Drivers from surrounding vehicles can be seen springing into action as they exit their cars in an attempt to extinguish the situation, Nine News reported.

The angered male was stopped at an intersection in Adelaide’s west when he exited his van and began attacking another motorist

But the visibly angered van driver makes a second attack on the group, rushing towards them and appearing to blast them in a verbal attack.

The heated confrontation occurred Tuesday afternoon in the inner western suburb of Lockleys on the corner of Sir Donald Bradman Driver and Tapleys Hill Road. 

It is unclear in footage of the event whether the man made contact with the driver.

At one point, a female driver, who steps out of her car to take a photo of the van’s registration plate, has a cup of water thrown at her from the window of the van.

Police are investigating the incident after it was reported by a witness shortly before 1pm.
