Vanessa Bauer beams as she accompanies skate partner Joey Essex to James Argent’s party

Vanessa Bauer was positively beaming on Tuesday night as she joined Dancing On Ice partner Joey Essex at James Argent’s star-studded birthday party Sheesh in Chigwell, Essex.

The professional skater, 26, couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she accompanied the former TOWIE star, 32, to Arg’s 35th birthday celebrations,  after she shut down romance rumours last month. 

Vanessa put on a leggy display as she attended the event, showcasing her pins in a dark purple mini dress which she teamed with sheer tights and black knee-high boots. 

Her racy dress featured a halter neck design and a backless detail, allowing her to showcase her incredible figure.

Meanwhile, Joey stood out in a padded satin blue jacket which he teamed with a blue and white patterned shirt, jeans and black trainers.

The pair looked relaxed in each other’s company as they smiled and chatted away outside the swanky eatery.

They were then seen warmly greeting birthday boy James and his girlfriend Stella Turian with hugs. 

James attracted a star-studded guest list to his party, with other attendees including  pals such as Kelsey Parker, his ex girlfriend Lydia Bright, Jacqueline Jossa  and Liam Gatsby. 

It comes after Vanessa shut down the growing rumours of a romance between her and Joey, after they had previously said to have been ‘super flirty’.

She shared that they are ‘just friends’, before adding that they’re having ‘a lot of fun’ preparing for the competition.

Speaking to The Sun last week, Vanessa was asked whether there was any truth to rumours of a blossoming relationship between her and Joey.

‘We are just skating partners,’ she firmly said, while responding the same to any chance of romance in the future.

And turning the conversation to the upcoming series of the skating competition, the brunette continued: ‘Dancing on Ice couldn’t go any better right now, Joey is progressing really fast and he’s working hard.

‘He takes Dancing on Ice extremely seriously; I was a bit worried at the beginning that he was going to joke around too much. 

‘But we are having a lot of fun and at the same time we are training so hard.’
