A vegan cyclist YouTuber who used to date Freelee the Banana Girl has allegedly been bashed in front of his new girlfriend outside a shopping mall.
Harley ‘Durianrider’ Johnstone was allegedly assaulted outside Adelaide Central Market about 2pm on Saturday.
Natasha Miklich, Johnstone’s 21-year-old girlfriend, told The Advertiser the couple were walking towards their bikes when a man, who police say is known to the pair, approached the YouTuber from behind.
Ms Miklich alleges the man put his arms around her 42-year-old partner and then began to punch him before forcing him on the concrete.

Video footage allegedly showed Mr Johnstone – dressed in bright green bike gear and a helmet – locked between the man’s legs
She claims the man yelled at her and attempted to take hold of her too.
‘I was afraid and trying to defend Harley,’ she told the publication.
‘He tried to grab my ankle and I didn’t want to get hurt.’
Video footage allegedly showed Mr Johnstone – dressed in bright green bike gear and a helmet – locked between the man’s legs.
Mr Johnstone was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital, suffering minor head injuries.
Police said a man was arrested at the scene of the alleged attack.

Mr Johnstone accused the motorist of ‘trying to kill him’ and raged against dangerous drivers in two-minute tirade.
‘F**king car, you want to kill me mate, you want to kill me? I’m here, kill me, man!’ he yelled while angrily gesturing with his arms.
Mr Johnstone used to date vegan lifestyle blogger Leanne Ratcliffe, better known as Freelee the Banana Girl, who credits her toned physique to a diet of 51 bananas a day.
His current partner is behind fitness and weight loss YouTube channel ‘Get Fit with Natasha’, which has more than 70,000 subscribers.
