The Venice Film Festival attracts a glittering crowd of A-listers every year, all determined to make their sartorial mark on the red carpet.
And Naomi Watts ensured she pulled out all the stops for the 75th ceremony’s star-studded opening night at Sala Grande on Wednesday night, looking showstopping as she stormed the red carpet in a flirty pink strapless gown.
The Australian actress, 49, who is a juror on this year’s panel, was joined by model Lottie Moss, 19, who dazzled in a fuchsia one-shoulder dress and The Crown’s Claire Foy, 34, who exuded elegance in a blush-hued creation.
The Impossible actress Naomi certainly turned heads in the pink gown, which featured bias-cut tiers and effortlessly hugged her toned physique.
Sticking an eye-catching pink theme, she accessorised with a fuchsia box clutch and a delicate diamond necklace that subtly drew attention to her decolletage.
The King Kong actress styled her golden tresses in tousled waves and framed her striking features with a sweep of blusher and taupe lipgloss.
Naomi was appointed a juror on the panel, which consists of five women and four men in an effort to readdress the imbalance that has occurred in previous years.

Watts said she hopes the experience will be ‘life altering’, gushing: ‘To sit in a disciplined way and spend the next 10 days watching two to three films a day is extraordinary and I have just never had that opportunity.
‘And to be amongst this group of people on this panel and with Guillermo leading it, I think it’s going to be a really unique and really new experience.’
On September 8, the final day of the festival, Del Toro’s jury will be tasked with handing out the Golden Lion for Best Film, the Silver Lion – Grand Jury Prize, Silver Lion for Best Director, Coppa Volpi for Best Actor, Coppa Volpi for Best Actress, Award for Best Screenplay, the Special Jury Prize and the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best New Young Actor or Actress.

Whilst Naomi was posing with the jurors, Claire Foy and Ryan Gosling lead the star-studded arrivals at the festival, with the duo co-starring in one of this year’s top contenders.
