A police post appealing for information about a shirtless man called Chang Lol has attracted hundreds of comments from amused social media users.
Victoria Police at Geelong posted the notice of the arrest warrant on their Facebook page as part of ‘Warrant Wednesday’.
The warrant relates to an assault of an emergency worker on duty, police said.
‘Lol is believed to be living in the Whittington area and he is required to attend his local Police Station in order to have his warrant dealt with,’ the post read.

Commenters on the post were stunned by the unusual name.
‘I just can’t take that seriously with that name,’ one commenter said.
‘Thought you were making a joke of his crimes, then I realised,’ another said.

‘Assaulting emergency workers is terrible,’ agreed a fourth.
