Victorian Labor senator Kimberley Kitching dies of suspected heart attack

Victorian Labor senator Kimberley Kitching has died. 

Senator Kitching, 52, died of a suspected heart attack on Thursday afternoon, ABC reported. 

Many have been shocked by her sudden passing, social media has been flooded with an outpouring of grief.

The former lawyer, policy adviser, Melbourne City councillor and union official was elected to Parliament in 2016.

Senator Kitching is married to Andrew Landeryou.
