It’s said that the boy had been separated from his mother at an underground station in Wuhan, Hubei Province, on November 12.

With the help of station staff, the mother soon located the boy at the Taojialing station.

Surveillance camera footage captures the moment the mother saw her son on the platform of the station.

The clip was edited and posted by Wuhan Subway Operation, the city’s subway authority, on its Weibo account on November 17.

According to the post, a member of staff found the boy and helped him look for his mother. The member of staff managed to contact the mother on November 12.

The mother and son met on the platform and happily ran towards each other.

The video editing and the background music turned the reunion into a touching, heart-warming moment.

The slow motion effect precisely caught the mother smiling when she was hugging her son.

Web users have been surprised to see the clip.

‘I thought this was some Japanese drama and I can’t believe that it was from the train company’s Weibo,’ commented ‘honoo-terasu’.

‘Hankouningcai’ said the moment of their reunion had a perfect setting as the platform happened to be empty.

‘The platform is almost empty and the editing which put the mother and the son side by side made it look like a scene from a film.’

Whilst, some web users recognised the background music was from a big-hit Japanese drama, Operation Love.
