The Project viewers have noticed a major sign that Sarah Harris will be returning to the show in 2025.
On Monday, the current affairs program shared a promotional image for the show to promote the coming year.
The image featured Sarah standing alongside Waleed Aly, and was captioned: ‘We hear you like your news… delivered differently. So, see you in 2025 for more of the same!’
A number of regular watchers have posted to the Media Spy forums, saying this has confirmed Sarah has re-signed with the news program.
‘It seems Sarah will re-sign on for another year. Hard to believe she’s been there nearly two years now,’ one person wrote.
‘It seems to be a new picture of Sarah & Waleed,’ another agreed.
However one person claimed the image doesn’t confirm Sarah will be remaining on the show for the entire year.
‘Back in 2022, they had Lisa Wilkinson and Peter Hellier announced for 2023, then they left, along with Carrie who had already announced that she was leaving,’ they wrote.
Viewers have noticed a major sign that Sarah Harris will be returning to The Project in 2025
It comes after former host Peter Helliar made a surprising return to The Sunday Project over the weekend.
The comedian, who sensationally quit the current affairs series in 2022, appeared on the desk alongside Michael Hing, Max Rushden and Sarah.
‘It’s our globetrotting mate, Pete Helliar, on the desk!’ the veteran was introduced, before explaining what brought him back to his old stomping ground for a guest appearance for Sunday’s episode.
‘I had to come back from Argentina because I’ve not put in my vote in for marsupial of the year,’ Peter, who has spent time travelling recently for The Amazing Race Australia, joked.

‘The Wi-Fi wasn’t good on the Inca Trail. I’m a hairy-nosed wombat guy. They twerk people to death’.
Peter then settled right into the show, presenting stories and joking with the new cast like old friends.
His fans were delighted, with several sharing their thoughts on social media.
‘Great! You need to return permanently!’ wrote one person while someone else said: ‘Should be the co-host’.
