Internet goes wild over video questioning what the front pocket on Bunnings aprons are REALLY for – but isn’t it OBVIOUS?
- Comedian Luke Donkin suggested apron pocket could be used to hold snacks
- Commenters on the viral TikTok said pocket was used to hold staff name tags
- Mr Donkin said he had ‘no idea’ what the see-through pouches were used for
Bunnings workers have revealed the clear pockets on the front of their staff aprons are there to hold their name tags.
Australian comedian Luke Donkin posed as an employee at the hardware store in his latest TikTok where he joked the see-through pouch was there to hold snacks.
‘I honestly have no idea what this pocket is used for,’ Mr Donkin said.
‘I’ve always wanted to put like a trail mix in it and then just (eat it) throughout the day.

‘But I’d probably get in trouble.’
His theory was debunked with one apparent staff member commenting: ‘The pockets are meant for a name tag but nice idea’.
‘It’s for your name badge,’ another said with a laughing emoji.
Mr Donkin has racked up more than 3million followers for his videos where he masquerades as major retail chain employees, including Woolworths, Coles and Kmart.
