GJ Wholesale has issued a recall of its liquor products due to a possible chemical contamination.

The brands of liquor include Verushka Voda, Mississippi Bourbon, Los Cabos Tequila, Yachtsman White Rum, Mudgee Rum, Barman’s Choice Whiskey, Hunter Brandy, and Her Choice Gin.

The affected bottles were for sale in Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Any 700ml bottles with ‘supplied to and bottled in Australian for Wholesale’ on the label should be taken back to where it was purchased for a full refund. 

Consuming chemically-contaminated foods and beverages can cause injury.  

Customers concerned about having consumed the beverages are urged to seek medical advice.
