WAG Rebecca Judd leads celebrities dressing their children for Book Week

They’re used to turning heads on the red carpet with their glamorous gowns and gorgeous outfits. 

But this week, celebrities, including Rebecca Judd, Roxy Jacenko, Madeleine West and Kate Waterhouse, weaved their magic to create incredible costumes for their childrens’ Book Week.

WAG Rebecca, 35, took to Instagram on Friday to share a sweet snap of her son Oscar, seven, and daughter Billie Kate, four, dressed as their favourite characters.

‘Obligatory book week photo,’ Rebecca wrote. ‘Oscar is the snake from The Bad Guys. Billie is the mermaid from Dear Mermaid.’

Oscar’s outfit featured an elaborate headpiece and he had his face painted with fish scales.

Meanwhile, Billie wore a green sequinned mermaid skirt teamed a pink shell crown.

Roxy Jacenko’s daughter Pixie, seven, was as cute as a button, dressed up as Veruca Salt from Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

She wore a pink and white princess dress while carrying the classic children’s book and a Golden Ticket.

Meanwhile, Neighbours star and mother-of-six Madeleine West went all out this year, making papier-mâché masks for her brood.

Her daughter chose to go to Book Week dressed as a character from her mother’s book Orphan Annie: Lily D V.A.P, going as the budding artist character Lily (Very Amazing Performer).

Her two other children went dressed up as characters from the horror series Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Madeleine admitted that Book Week ‘nearly defeated’ her.

‘Despite serious scheduling clashes, papier-mâché that refused to dry, hot glue gun burns, acrylic paint splashed on soft furnishings, and last minute character change crises WE PULLED THROUGH!!! And this year I only stick my fingers together twice,’ she wrote on Instagram.
