WAGS Charlotte Trippier and Fern Hawkins start their journey to Wembley

Despite there still being hours to go until kick-off, many of the England WAGS were on their way to Wembley well before lunchtime. 

The partners of Harry McGuire and Jordan Pickford shared glimpses of their exciting morning prepping for the biggest night in recent English footballing history – including a visit from a curly blow-dry specialist at their London hotel. 

Fern Hawkins, the fiancee of England defender McGuire, posted a photo of herself and Megan Davison, the wife of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, boarding a luxury coach to the stadium this afternoon. 

Both were sporting matching hair dos – a curly blow dry by Samantha, a stylist based in Manchester, and matching England cowgirl hats.

Charlotte Trippier, wife of England star Kieran, posted a snap of the couple’s two children, Jacob and Esme, preparing to make the trip to central London by train, with the family all wearing kits emblazoned with Trippier’s name. 

Earlier this week, Fern Hawkins, who has two children with McGuire, revealed she hasn’t been able to even touch McGuire for five weeks since the tournament began because of tight Covid restrictions on the squad. 

On Instagram this afternoon, she declared herself and close friend Davison ‘Wembley ready’.   

Last night, the pair enlisted the help of a private chef to set Euros final eve off with a bang, with Manchester-based Chef Rohin laying on a healthy-looking sushi fakeaway.

Hawkins captioned her stories: ‘Pre match night in with baby girl’ before sharing photos of the duo in their monogrammed silk white pyjamas.

John Stones’ girlfriend Olivia Naylor celebrated her birthday with friends – including the footballer’s sister Jenny – at Gordon Ramsay’s Lucky Cat in the West End.

The beauty clinic owner enjoyed a double celebration as she hit London’s west end on the eve of the England vs Italy match, downing shots and cocktails with friends. 

Yesterday, Harry Kane’s wife Kate penned an emotional letter to her husband telling him ‘you’re making us all proud’ ahead of the Euro 2020 final against Italy tonight.

Mother-of-three Kate began by writing: ‘H, you know I am not one to cry too easily but I found myself in tears when I started writing down how proud you’re making us all and what you’re doing for the country.

‘I use to laugh at you when we started going out and you’d be round at mine playing penalties with my brother Tom and Seamus the dog, and you’d say you would be England captain one day.
