Warana mum Kelly Renee Liddicoat accused of fatal Nambour crash killing Aaron Pitt, Lleyton Bartlett

A former flight attendant accused of running down and killing two mechanics while they were on the job has been spotted shopping ahead of her first court appearance.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Kelly Renee Liddicoat is the motorist accused of ploughing into Aaron Pitt, 25, and Lleyton Bartlett, 22, as they tried to fix a broken down bus on Nambour Connection Road on April 21.

Both men – young tradies who were called to the highway about 3pm to urgently repair the bus – were rushed to hospital but died as a result of their injuries.

Police allege Liddicoat, from Warana on the Sunshine Coast, was under the influence of an ‘intoxicating substance’ at the time of the crash.

Pictures from the scene show she was driving a luxury white two-door BMW.

On Monday she and a companion, believed to be her mother, left home about midday toward Kmart in Maroochydore.

The women were seen shopping for clothing before heading 30 minutes north to Noosa’s main shopping precinct.

There, Liddicoat attended a lengthy appointment before joining the other woman in the street to chain smoke cigarettes and make several phone calls.

She refused to comment when approached by Daily Mail Australia on Monday.

Police allege Liddicoat was travelling down Nambour Connection Road while impaired by an ‘intoxicating substance’ when she ploughed into Mr Pitt and Mr Bartlett about 3pm.

Concerned loved ones say Liddicoat has lost contact with most of her former friends, colleagues and even family.

‘She’s had no contact with anyone from what I know,’ a friend said.

Liddicoat recently separated from her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the families of her alleged victims are grieving their loved ones.
