DC Police have not released a statement regarding the location of the shooting or any potential suspects in the incident.

This incident occurred just as rumors began to circulate that Robinson could be named the starting running back for the newly named Commanders over veteran Antonio Gibson.

Robinson was selected in the third round of this year’s NFL draft out of the University of Alabama.

Last season with the Crimson Tide, Robinson grabbed career highs in carries (271), rushing yards (1,343), and rushing touchdowns (14).

Additionally, he set career receiving records with the most catches (35), receiving yards (296) and receiving touchdowns (2).

This is a developing story. More information to come.
