Washington Football Team safety Deshazor Everett crashed his sports car, killing his female passenger night after slamming into a tree in Virginia Thursday night.
Everett, 29, was driving a 2010 Nissan GT-R, which has a top speed of 193 mph, along with his passenger, 29-year-old Olivia S. Peters of Las Vegas, around 9:15 pm in Loudoun County when he crashed, according to TMZ.
No arrests or charges have been made as of Friday and alcohol is not thought to be a factor, however authorities said the crash is still under investigation.
Peters was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The outlet reported that Everett was also transported to an area hospital, where he remained as of Friday.
His injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

No further information regarding Peters or the crash has been released.
Everett played college football at Texas A&M, and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015 before joining Washington that same year.
On Friday, the Washington Football Team, formerly known as the Washington Redskins, released a statement on the crash.
‘We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends who lost a loved one.’
‘Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected by this tragedy. Our team has alerted the league office and is working with local authorities.’
Everett is the second NFL player to make headlines for being behind the wheel during a fatal car crash.

The now-former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III’s blood-alcohol level was found to be twice Nevada’s legal limit as he was traveling 156mph in the moments leading up to the car crash that killed another driver and injured the NFL star’s girlfriend last month, according to police.
Police have identified the deceased victim as 23-year-old Tina Tintor.
Ruggs’s mugshot was released shortly after the crash, showing the now-former Las Vegas Raiders receiver with a neck brace and a cut across his nose. He arrived at his first hearing in a wheelchair.
The team dropped Ruggs, 22, just hours before his first court appearance on felony charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in death.
If convicted, he could face anywhere between two to 46 years in prison, according to Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson.
Ruggs could also face additional charges for a handgun that police allegedly found on the driver’s side of his Corvette.
