Footy fans were left stunned after Dale Finucane showed off his musical ability with a rendition of Tina Turner’s ‘Simply the Best’ at the Dally M awards.
Sharks star Finucane was joined by Peking Duk to sing the iconic tune in a touching tribute to the footy figures who have died this past year.
The 32-year-old displayed his strong guitar playing abilities and his soulful vocals in front of his colleagues in Sydney.
And fans took to Twitter, now known as X, to laud Finucane after his impressive performance.
‘Wow Dale Finucane on guitar and vocals,’ one fan said.
Another added: ‘I don’t care what anyone says, Dale Finucane just won the Dally M. That was brilliant.’
A third said: ‘Great job Dale Finucane… serious effort to go in front of a group of your mates and combatants and sing live while playing guitar solo… on national television!’
‘Dale Finucane, a man of many, many talents,’ a fourth fan posted. ‘What a damn good rendition of Simply the Best at these Dally M awards.’
