But it turns out that Wayne Carey is also a master of the property market after he sold his Gold Coast mansion for a whopping $1million profit earlier this year.
The 46-year-old sold his waterfront five-bedroom, four bathroom house in Broadbeach Waters, in central Gold Coast, for $2,265,000 in July.

Wayne’s former property boasts a massive landsize of 898sqm and includes near-360 degree views of the Gold Coast landscape.
With five-bedrooms, it sleeps up to 12 people and includes flat screen TVs in all main living areas, as well as a home theatre.
The property also includes a ten metre marble-tiled swimming pool and a private jetty that extends out into the Nerang River.

The home has been on the rental market since ‘The King’ permanently relocated to a luxury Melbourne penthouse on St. Kilda Road, 9Honey reported.
The mansion brought in up to $7000 a week for Wayne in peak holiday season, and another $3000 a week in the off-season.
Agent Tracey Wheaton previously referred to the property as ‘Queensland’s White House’ which is ‘fit for a president’, according to the Herald Sun.
Jakarta-based buyer Paul Noonan is now the owner of the property, according to 9Honey.
