And despite moving on from this, Wayne has now been said to be concerned about the rumours his wife Coleen, both 32, joining Strictly line-up according to The Sun.
The footballer is reportedly wary about their marriage being ‘dragged’ into the limelight once again as well as the infamous Strictly curse which sees couples split.

Despite Louise and Jamie Redknapp’s marriage collapsing following her successful stint on Strictly, Coleen has allegedly laughed off the curse.
The insider claimed the Wayne scandal knocked the mother-of-four’s confidence and this could be her chance to put it well and truly behind her.
A source told the publication: ‘Wayne’s concerned about Strictly for a lot of reasons. It drags their problems into the public eye again.
‘He’s also very aware what happened with Louise and Jamie Redknapp. Coleen has laughed that off and doesn’t see the curse as a reason not to do the show.
‘Her confidence has been knocked with all that’s gone on with her and Wayne and this could finally be her chance to shine. But she doesn’t have long to decide.’

The reports follow speculation Coleen was being eyed up by the Strictly Come Dancing bosses for the next series.
According to The Mirror, the mother-of-four, who is married to footballer Wayne Rooney, was initially on the cards for the show last year but was replaced by Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu after finding out she was pregnant with son, Cass.
‘This would be one of Strictly’s biggest signings ever. And it would be a ratings sensation,’ a source told the publication, before adding that the WAG is ‘interested’ but yet to sign on the dotted line.

Speaking of the TV star’s history with the show, it was added: ‘Coleen deferred her place last year after falling pregnant but has the option of taking it up this year – and talks have begun to make that happen.
‘Producers know that they will need to pull out all the stops to land Coleen. But they have been told she is interested,’ it was continued.

The talented star was caught on a drunken night with Laura Simpson in September, while his pregnant partner was on holiday with their children.
Following the scandal, Coleen, who is also mum to Kai, eight, Klay, four, and Kit, two, was forced to issue a statement about the status of her marriage on Facebook, saying she ‘thought it might have been at an end’.
She set the record straight and confirmed that she had put her wedding ring back on, and forgiven Wayne’s ‘selfish mistakes’ yet again.
‘I know I would be fine on my own,’ she wrote. ‘With just me and my children, but I don’t want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do.’
‘I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point, I’m not the type of person to put a show on and say we’re all loved-up….I’m just real.’

Insisting she is a ‘strong person’ and doesn’t need people to feel sorry for her, Coleen put rumours to bed about her marriage.
She continued: ‘A few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try and work on.
‘Before the headlines start…. No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left.’
Despite her difficult pregnancy, the author was delighted to become a mum again when she welcomed her fourth son into the world earlier in February.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘So Happy to welcome our Baby Boy …. Cass Mac Rooney into the world weighing a healthy 8lb 10oz. He is beautiful.’
