Harvey Weinstein has sold his lavish Connecticut home and listed his Hamptons estate for sale as he faces the daunting prospect of a mountain of legal bills to fight sexual assault and harassment allegations.
The movie tycoon and founder of Miramax recently unloaded his four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in the picturesque suburb of Westport for $1.65 million.
He has been trying to sell the lavish home since April and offloaded it days before he was accused of sexually assaulting or harassing at least 30 women in the movie industry.
Weinstein has owned the property since 1995, when he bought it for $825,000.
Weinstein, who is currently embroiled in controversy after actresses including Rose McGowan, Angelina Jolie, and Gwyneth Paltrow alleged serious sexual misconduct, now potentially faces paying out millions in legal fees and further payments to his alleged victims.

Legal experts even said Weinstein, who has a reported net worth of $130 million, could face criminal liability over his alleged behavior.

The sprawling, 9000 sq ft home was built in 2000 and he bought it just three years ago for $11.4 million.
