Several West Coast Eagles AFL premiership stars now have a permanent mark of their grand final heroics.

A premiership medal isn’t the only long lasting memento for defender Liam Duggan and forward Jamie Cripps, who have wasted no time getting premiership tattoos.

Instead of going to a tattoo parlour, the pair went to an unusual location to get inked, which raised eyebrows on social media.

Injured star ruckman Nic Naitanui posted an Instagram video on Tuesday of his Perth home temporarily transformed into a makeshift tattoo parlour.

‘Taken over my kitchen,’ Naitanui’s Instagram caption read.

The video shows Duggan and Cripps lying on beds set up in Naitanui’s kitchen getting fresh premiership tattoos inked on their legs.

‘The eagle,’ Naitanui is heard saying in the background as Cripps gives a big thumbs up while getting inked.

Tagged in the Instagram video is Youngbloods Tattoo Studio, which has done work with Naitanui previously.

The Eagles superstar sadly missed the grand final after he injured his left ACL in round 17, which required a knee reconstruction.

Celebrations continue in the west three days after the Eagles’ heart-stopping five point grand final win against Collingwood Magpies at the MCG in front of a 100,000 capacity crowd.

It’s the Eagles’ fourth premiership from seven AFL grand final appearances since the club entered the competition in 1987, following previous flags in 1992, 1994 and 2006.

The Eagles returned home to a rock star reception in Perth on Sunday.
