It had been reported that West Ham had approached the Portuguese club for the former Borussia Dortmund player but those links are wide of the mark, as confirmed by Moyes.

A move for Angelino, the RB Leipzig left wing-back who departed Manchester City for the Bundesliga outfit, is also unlikely with Moyes distancing the club from the links.

Angelino is likely to prove expensive for any potential suitor, with the defender having a contract at the German club until 2025 and having been one of their best performers last term.
