What really happened during the explosive MKR fight

My Kitchen Rules ‘villains’ Sonya and Hadil will be booted off the show for bullying on Wednesday night’s episode.

But an insider has alleged that what viewers will see of the explosive clash between the NSW besties and sisters Jess and Emma is actually quite tame.

‘Threats were made and it went too far,’ the source reportedly told News.com.au.

‘The words that were thrown out were quite vitriolic and it was time to do something. Pete (Evans) and Manu (Feildel) certainly wanted to get involved… it was spiralling out of control,’ the insider claimed.

‘You don’t see the worst of it. We’re a 7.30pm show and it still had to be kept suitable for families. There was certainly a lot that happened that didn’t make the show… it was pretty hardcore.’

Network Seven declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail Australia.

Tuesday night’s episode of My Kitchen Rules saw a war of words erupt between NSW teams Jess and Emma and Hadil and Sonya.

During Henry and Anna’s instant restaurant, the ladies bickered back and forth, cursed, pointed fingers and yelled insults before the judges stepped in to ask for some ‘respect.’

It was playful banter that quickly turned sour, with the fellow contestants and judges looking visibly uncomfortable – but the worst is yet to come.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph ahead of Wednesday’s episode, Jess and Emma revealed that they’re ‘looking forward’ to seeing their rivals sent home.

‘We’ve kept quiet for a very long time and are looking forward to our altercation actually,’ Emma, 38, said.

‘We’ve copped so much flak for being the team that got kicked out before the show even started, but we’re glad viewers can finally see it wasn’t us.’

‘Yes, we might be slightly painful and over the top but we weren’t kicked out. So we’re looking forward to it only for that reason.’
