What’s open on Australia Day 2018

The countdown is on for Australia Day 2018, with just hours to go before the national day of celebration.

While the public holiday is set to see thousands at the beach or behind the barbecue, there’s no rest for retail workers who will be manning most stores around the country.

Those unlucky enough to be working right up to Australia Day can still grab supplies at most supermarkets and department stores.

So, what will be open on Friday?

Daily Mail Australia has compiled a list of opening hours at major retailers so you don’t miss out on the last minute essentials.
