Whistleblower claimed their White House source described Trump’s Ukraine call as ‘crazy’ and ‘frightening’ and said it had nothing to do with national security in two-page personal memo written one DAY after the conversation
- The whistleblower who blew the lid on Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian president wrote a personal memo the day after the July 25 call
- The two-page, single-spaced memo says that the White House source called the conversation ‘crazy’ and ‘frightening’
- It claims that the White House source said the call was ‘completely lacking in substance related to national security’
- This comes as President Trump is under fire over the phone call with Zelenskiy where he asked for help to dig up dirt on Joe Biden and his son Hunter
The whistleblower who blew the lid on Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president wrote a personal memo the day after the call saying their White House source called the conversation ‘crazy’ and ‘frightening’.
‘The following is a record of a conversation I had this afternoon with a White House official about the telephone call yesterday morning between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky,’ the unidentified whistleblower wrote in a two-page, single-spaced memo on July 26, just a day after the now-infamous call, obtained by Fox News.
The White House official who told the whistleblower of the conversation described the call as ‘crazy, frightening and completely lacking in substance related to national security.’
It’s this anonymous whisteblower’s complaint that has President Trump under fire and facing impeachment after they claimed Trump asked Ukraine for help to dig up dirt on his opponent Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

The whistleblower wrote that the conversation with the unnamed White House official ‘only lasted a few minutes, and as a result, I only received highlights.’
A second whistleblower has now come forward claiming to have first hand knowledge of the call.
They have spoken to the intelligence community’s internal watchdog and has information that backs the original whistleblower’s complaint about President Donald Trump’s dealings with Ukraine, according to an attorney for the two.
Mark Zaid told ABC News on Sunday that he is now representing a second whistleblower who has first hand knowledge of events.
Zaid, a Washington lawyer, is already representing the whistleblower at the center of the impeachment inquiry into Trump.
He said the second whistleblower hasn’t filed a complaint with the inspector general but does have ‘firsthand knowledge that supported’ the original whistleblower.
Democrats in the House of Representatives last week launched a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump.
The impeachment inquiry is based largely on the first whistleblower’s complaint.
Joe Biden, who was vice president during Barack Obama’s presidency, is a top contender for the Democratic nomination to challenge Trump in the November 2020 presidential election.

The whistleblower alleged, in a report released earlier on Thursday, that Trump abused his office in pressuring Ukraine to investigate Biden and that the White House tried to ‘lock down’ evidence about that conduct by putting a summary of the call into a separate electronic system used to store and handle sensitive classified information.
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the report showed that the Republican president ‘has been engaged in a cover-up all along.’
Trump has denied wrongdoing and accuses Democrats of launching a ‘witch hunt’ against him.
‘What… Democrats are doing to this country is a disgrace and it shouldn’t be allowed. There should be a way of stopping it, maybe legally through the courts,’ he said.
