White Sox pitcher Jace Fry’s fiancée accuses him of cheating, giving her an ‘STD again’

Although the couple still has an active online wedding registry, Chicago White Sox pitcher Jace Fry’s engagement apparently came to an abrupt end on Wednesday when his recent fiancée called the 25-year-old left-hander a ‘sociopath’ on social media while accusing him of cheating on her and giving her a sexually transmitted disease.

On Twitter, Kelsi Blalock wished Fry a ‘Happy first MLB start’ to Fry, whom she referred to using the poop emoji and his own Twitter handle. He has since switched off his account. (Fry pitched only one inning and was officially given the loss for Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Indians)

The tweet contained screen grabs of Instagram photos of the couple with increasingly revealing captions. Given the dates on the posts – mostly 2017 – it appears as though Blalock added the comments recently, well after the pictures had been uploaded to Instagram.

One picture of the couple during his time with the Double-A Birmingham Barons had a caption that read: ’26th birthday at the ballpark: wasting another year of my life on a sociopath.’

Another couple shows Blalock’s hands touching Fry’s face, and includes what appears to be her engagement ring.

That caption reads: ‘When you think he won’t give you an STD again…’

One photo comes from a bowling alley and shows Fry carrying Blalock around his shoulders as she buries her face into his right arm.

‘We call this,’ the caption read, ‘at the bowling ally (sic) he took the girl he was screwing when I wasn’t in town.’

In another picture from Fry’s days in Birmingham, where he pitched in 2017, the former Oregon State star is show signing autographs.

Her caption reads: ‘Give that girl over there my number, but don’t tell her I’m engaged.’

Blalcok also posted an unattributed quote on Twitter that she claimed was her ‘explanation’: ‘”You speak so highly of him,” he said to her, “Why do you do that? Why do you speak of him as if he puts the stars in the sky when he did nothing but break you so g** d*** much that the cracks in your heart were practically visible through your eyes.”

‘She laughed, “that’s the thing about love, isn’t it? You’ll let them get away with murder, even if it’s your own.”‘

One Twitter user responded by asking Blalock what Fry did, saying he ‘seems like a good dude.’

Blalock responded with a woman’s Twitter handle which connected to an account that had been set to ‘private.’

The responses were even livelier on their wedding registry guestbook.

‘New fun game of who will RSVP on my wedding website under the most clever name,’ Blalock tweeted, encouraging the the online interactions. ‘At least something good has come from my hell hath no fury moment.’

Hundreds of responses followed.

‘Good luck every being able to date again when you brag about getting not 1 but 2 STD’s,’ read a comment from ‘STD Superman.’

Another comment poked fun at Tiger Woods’s ex-wife, who was publicly embarrassed when it was revealed in 2009 that the pro golfer had been having affairs.

‘You $hould have married him first!,’ read the comment from ‘Elin Nordegren.’ (The real Nordegren reportedly received a $100 million divorce settlement)

The registry featured a honeymoon fund, pictures of the couple, as well as travel and lodging options for attendees. The wedding was scheduled for December 1, 2018 at a winery in McMinnville, Oregon.

A third-round draft pick in 2014, Fry’s salary was $439,500 in 2018. His first contract in 2014 included a $760,000 signing bonus in 2014.

Fry appeared in 57 games so far this season, totaling 50 innings pitch and posting an unimpressive 4.32 earned-run average.
