‘Instead of dirty videos, I’ll tell dirty jokes!’ Whitney Cummings SLAMS Twitter as ‘full of dorks and snitches’ and reveals she’s joining OnlyFans – amid Elon Musk takeover

Whitney Cummings has revealed she’s joining OnlyFans in a bid to avoid ‘dorks and snitches’ on Twitter – amid Elon Musk’s controversial takeover of the social media platform.

The comedian, 40, told TMZ she had become frustrated with entertainers becoming ‘demonetized or de-platformed’ due to jokes being reported as ‘hate speech’ on social media – and was seeking a fresh start with OnlyFans.

The star, who boasts 1.4million followers on Twitter said OnlyFans – which has become famous for allowing models to sell nude photos and videos – is ‘giving more money to women than Hollywood’.

She said: ‘We’re really just trying to make people laugh, so I’m trying out every new platform I can to see what’s good.

‘Instead of dirty photos or dirty videos, we’ll have some dirty jokes on there, because there’s a lot of people on Twitter being dorks or being snitches and they’re not allowing us but we’re also forcing jokes on people in the middle of the day that they’re maybe not asking for.

‘OnlyFans is giving more money to teachers.’ The star did not reveal if she will quit the microblogging app.

Whitney’s comments come after tech mogul Musk completed his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter last week.

On Saturday, Gigi Hadid informed her 76.2 Instagram followers that she ‘deactivated’ her Twitter account due to ‘its new leadership.’

‘It’s becoming more and more of a cesspool of hate & bigotry, and its not a place I want to be a part of,’ she wrote on her Instagram Story.

The beauty said that she is ‘only sorry to the fans’ that she has ‘loved connecting with for a decade’ on the platform.

Ultimately, she explained that she feels Twitter is no longer ‘a safe place for anyone, nor a platform that will do more good than harm.’

Additionally, she shared a screenshot of a viral tweet, penned by Shannon Raj Singh, which informed her followers that ‘the entire Human Rights team has been cut from the company.’

Despite being terminated, she said she was ‘enormously proud of the work we did to implement the UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights, to protect those at-risk in global conflicts & crises including Ethiopia, Afghanistan, and Ukraine, and to defend the needs of those particularly at risk of human rights abuse by virtue of their social media presence, such as journalists & human rights defenders..’

Hadid’s decision comes after Bot Sentinel, a data firm, found that Twitter may have lost over a million users since Musk bought the tech company for $44 billion, indicating that some users have been suspended by the company and others may have deactivated out of protest.

TV screenwriter Shonda Rhimes, actor Mia Farrow, as well as Madam Secretary star Téa Leoni, She Hulk actor Jameela Jamil, as well as authors and activists Shaun King and Amy Siskind have all threatened to boycott the platform.
