A young lifeguard has been violently attacked by a group of teenage thugs after he reportedly warned them about performing dangerous stunts near other swimmers.
The 19-year-old was on duty at the Casey ARC pool in Narre Warren, southeast Melbourne, when he was set upon at about 5.50pm on Sunday.

He has since been discharged.
