Australian shoppers have discovered a $5 item from Kmart that is a ‘must have’ in every home – and the bargain buy has been flying off shelves.

The mini blocks flower series includes an assorted selection of flowers you can make out of plastic bricks.

Many have compared the Kmart construction toys to Legos, which can set you back $15 to $40 for similar small designs.

Shoppers have dubbed the home decor buy the ‘perfect’ Christmas present or date night activity.

The $5 buildable flowers are also a thoughtful gift for people with allergies.

The budget series has four designs: sunflower, rainbow flower, chrysanthemum, and rose.

Some of the more expensive versions come with vases to display the flowers.

‘I bought heaps of individual flowers and a vase to make for my mum who is allergic to flowers,’ a young woman shared.

Others shared thoughts on the budget buy online.

‘I’m in love, I need to buy this now,’ one said.

‘I wish I had this when I was on maternity leave,’ a new mum shared.

‘How much are these? The Lego brand ones are so expensive,’ another wrote.

‘Flowers I can keep alive? It’s a yes from me!’ a shopper said.

Speaking of bargain gifts, Target shoppers recently discovered what they claimed to be the ‘perfect dupe’ of a luxury brand.

The fashion blogger behind Kmart Insider found what she believed to be an affordable alternative to the jewellery collection by French designer brand Van Cleef & Arpels, with each piece priced between $4,700 and $7,600.

Target’s purse-friendly pack, featuring a clover charm design and available in three colours – malachite green, onyx black and pearl – includes a bracelet, necklace and a pair of earrings for just $20.

The pack looks strikingly similar to the high-end’s jewellery collection.

A bracelet would set you back a whopping $7,600 while a necklace costs $4,700 and earrings are priced at $6,850.

Van Cleef & Arpels is widely regarded as one of the world’s most iconic luxury jewellery brands, famously known for its signature four-leaf clover design.

Despite the significant price difference, there are key features that the cheaper style lacks.

The designer pieces are made with 18k gold and malachite gemstones featuring distinctive patterns while Target’s version is gold-plated with stone-like clovers.

Many shoppers were stunned by Target’s ‘unbelievable’ offering, with many saying it’s a great alternative for those who can’t afford the luxury price tag.

‘Running to Target,’ one said.

‘I need these, there so cute,’ another shared.
