Her Royal Highness, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, afterwards visited community education projects at Textile More and Dobdobia Bridge, Fultola, Barisal.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this evening attended a Reception for Orbis at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Shahid Saifuddin Road, Chittagong.

19th: The Countess of Wessex this morning arrived at Dhaka International Airport and was received by the British High Commissioner to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting with Sheikh Hasina Wajed (Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh) at Old Sangsad Bhaban, Tejgaon, Dhaka.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, later visited the Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital, Khamar Bari Road, Dhaka.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Brac, 76 Mohakhali, Dhaka.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Reception at the Residence of the British High Commissioner to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

18th: The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Bangladesh.

14th: The Countess of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 5th Battalion The Rifles, today attended a Welcome Home Parade at Ward Barracks, Bulford Camp, Salisbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton).

13th: The Countess of Wessex, Ambassador, Women of the Future Programme, this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Awareness Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Scarsdale Place, Kensington. 

9th: The Countess of Wessex this morning visited NewStarts, 1 Sherwood Road, Bromsgrove, and was received by the Hon. Lady Morrison (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire).

Her Royal Highness, President, Breast Cancer Haven Guardians, this afternoon opened the Worcestershire Breast Unit at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Charles Hastings Way, Worcester.

The Countess of Wessex afterwards visited St. Paul’s Hostel, Hillborough, Tallow Hill, Worcester.
