A wife has left her husband a conscientious handwritten note after she discovered a huntsman spider lurking in their bathroom.
Video footage shows the man approaching the bathroom door, where the letter was placed, before entering the room in search of the huntsman.
In the clip uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday, the man, from Moruya, south east of Canberra, takes a deep breath before finding the spider in the corner of the room.
The man, from Moruya, south east of Canberra, came across a note on Tuesday that his wife left on the bathroom door warning him of a massive spider lurking nearby.
The man said: ‘OK guys, I just want to show you something.
‘This is how people in my house solve problems.’
And as he edges closer into the room, the spider jumps towards him.
‘Oh,’ he blurts before letting out a nervous laugh. He continues: ‘Yeah ok, I’m going to leave him alone.’
Huntsmans are found across Australia, but despite their intimidating appearance, they are not considered dangerous.
