John Pearce has joined The Wiggles as part of the group’s diverse shake up. 

But the 30-year-old performer is not new to the spotlight, having cut his teeth on multiple reality shows. 

John took part in Australia’s Got Talent with his boy band, Justice Crew, who shot to fame on the contest.

They went on to be nominated for nominated for eight ARIA Awards as well as having a slew of hit singles. 

Their first number-one single as Boom Boom, and they also saw top ten chart success with Best Night and Everybody. 

Following his success in that group, John flexed his muscles on another – very different – reality show.

He next starred on the first season of Ninja Warrior in 2017, which aired on Channel Nine. 

Now working as a personal trainer and qualified nutritionist, John often showcases his Adonis-like physique in photos on his Instagram account. 

The singer and dancer will be performing as a Purple Wiggle in the hit children’s group.

John will be sharing the Wiggles’ stage with fellow newcomer Tsehay Hawkins, a 15-year-old who was adopted from Ethiopia. 

The pair will be joined by Chinese-Australian Kelly Hamilton, a 45-year-old dancer who has performed with artists including Beyoncé and Pink. 

Rounding out the new arrivals is Evie Ferris, a 24-year-old Indigenous dancer from Cairns.

The line-up will also feature three new non-binary characters including a dancing cop named Officer Beaples, Shirley Shawn the Unicorn and Bok the hand puppet.
