Willowbank Raceway: Horror rollover crash leaves two men seriously injured after both were ejected from a vehicle
A horror crash at a raceway has left two men with serious injuries, after they were blown out of a car at high speed.
The incident happened around 5.30pm on Friday at Queensland Raceway in Willowbank near Ipswich, in south-east Queensland.
Footage of the shocking crash shows the race car swerving off the side of the track after the driver loses control of the vehicle.

The vehicle then flips over several times before it leaves the ground and lands upside down on a grassy area at the side of the track.
The video – taken by a passenger in another vehicle – captured the terrifying moment a man was ejected from the yellow car.
‘He fell out of the car,’ the driver of the other vehicle says as the car crashed.
‘He fell out of the car bro!’
The male passenger sitting in the front seat said, ‘Oh bro, I can’t deal with that’.
A part of the car’s front exterior could be seen flying off the vehicle in the chaotic scenes.
Plumes of smoke and dirt could be seen coming from the car after it veered of the track.
Paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service arrived at the scene and treated the men for their injuries.
A man believed to be between 45 to 50 years of age was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition after he suffered serious head, chest and pelvic injuries.
Another man believed to be 35 was driven to the hospital after he sustained chest, shoulder, and pelvic injuries.
The victims of the crash sustained serious injuries after the vehicle swerved of the racetrack, which led to one man being ejected from the vehicle
Queensland Police said in a statement they are conducting enquiries into the incident.

‘Initial information indicates around 5.30pm, a vehicle rolled over on a racetrack near Champions Way.
‘The Forensic Crash Unit is assisting Workplace Health and Safety with investigations.’
The injured men were believed to be racing a Holden Torana during a racing show known as PowerCruise.
The PowerAuto Powercruise is an event that allows drivers to race their cars on various racetracks across Australia.
In a statement which was put up on their Facebook page on Friday, organisers said the four-day event running until Sunday would go ahead ‘as planned’.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene following the crash before the two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries, as Queensland Police investigate the incident
‘Powercruise acknowledges that a single vehicle incident occurred at Queensland Raceway during one of today’s cruising sessions.’
‘We’d like to commend the track medical and fire response for being on scene immediately; as well as QAS for their assistance by road and helicopter. Emergency response services attended to the 2 [sic] male occupants.’
The car show, which is supported by SuperCheap Auto, holds races across several race tracks in Australia.
According to their website, the show ‘offers its customers the opportunity to push their cars performance to the limits…’
