Win a £3million six-bedroom mansion with a £25 raffle ticket

One lucky person could win a luxury £3million house for just £25 after the owners decided to raffle it off after it failed to sell.

Avon Place, an award-winning six bedroom property designed by Huf Haus, is in the exclusive hamlet of Avon Castle near Ringwood, Hampshire, where England star Adam Lallana has a home.

The property has been up for sale for two years but a buyer hasn’t been found. Now the owners are raffling it off with tickets costing £25 each. They will have to sell 120,000 tickets to reach the £3m value.

The lucky winner will not only be able to call the state-of-the-art property their home, but also included in the prize is all fitted furniture, Stamp Duty and solicitors’ fees.

There are a maximum 250,000 tickets available, meaning entrants have a 250,000-1 chance of winning compared to the 14,000,000-1 chance of winning the National Lottery.

And if the owners sell all tickets they will pocket a cool £6.25m – more than double the house’s valuation.

The competition is running for four months with a deadline of July 31.

Situated on an elevated one acre plot, Avon Place is a Huf Haus, meaning it is a distinctive glass and wood property built by the German company of the same name, which can be constructed within days.

The current owners, who are not being named, have owned the property for over a decade and originally bought the spacious lot with a rundown bungalow on the site.

They soon demolished the existing property however, and it was soon replaced by the stunning Huf Haus.

The competition to win the house is being run by Win a Home Limited, who say they are excited by what the unique property has to offer.

A spokesman said: ‘The competition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the owner of a beautiful home worth £3million, for just the £25 ticket price.

‘You actually have 560 times more chance of winning Avon Place than you do of winning the lottery, so the odds are great – it’s a competition not to be missed.

‘There are only 250,000 tickets available for this competition and seeing as Easter is on the horizon, you could buy your loved one (or yourself) a treat for Easter that could be life changing!’

The prize draw will be conducted by local MP Sir Christopher Chope OBE in the week following the close date of July 31.
