It could STILL be you! Winner of £57m Euromillions jackpot is yet to claim prize a week after winning as speculation grows they may be in self-isolation or hospital

  • A UK Lottery ticket-holder has been sitting on a £57million prize for a week
  • The ticket has yet to be claimed over a week since the March 17 jackpot draw
  • Lottery runner said coronavirus lockdown may have disrupted prize-winner
  • Winner would be as rich as singer Harry Styles and actress Emma Watson
  • Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

A UK winner of a £57million EuroMillions jackpot is yet to claim the huge prize more than a week after winning – and may not know they are a multi-millionaire.

The ticket, worth £57,869,670, was bought at a National Lottery retailer in Britain at an undisclosed location, and has not been claimed since the March 17 draw.

Camelot, which has run The National Lottery since 1994, said that the daily routines of typical ticket-holders have been disrupted by the coronavirus lockdown.

A spokesperson said this was having an effect on whether or not people were checking their tickets at the supermarket.

The £57million prize-winner has 180 days to claim the jackpot bonanaza; the last date on which the reward can be claimed is this September 13.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: ‘One very lucky UK ticket-holder has won a whopping £57million from a ticket bought in store. This is fantastic news in these uncertain times.

‘We’re urging players to check their tickets as soon as they can and remember, the winning numbers can always be found online and on the National Lottery app.’

According to the Sunday Times Rich List 2019, this jackpot would propel a single ticket-holder into the same league as Harry Styles and Emma Watson.

Last year, the UK celebrated seven EuroMillions jackpot wins, including one anonymous winner banking £170million in October.

The National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers on March 17 were 05, 07, 08, 16 and 20, while the Lucky Stars were 02 and 12.
