Wisconsin widow believes dead husband was present at shoot

A widow believes her husband was sending her signals from the grave on the day of her maternity shoot after the photos came back with rainbows and orbs of light on her stomach.

Kelly Luethe, 27, from Sparta, Wisconsin lost her husband Jarrett, 26, in a car accident in August 2017.

Already mom to Ashton, six, and Kennedi, two, Kelly was 18 weeks pregnant with her third child when Jarrett passed away while on a work trip in another state.

Speaking to Today, she revealed that she had been texting her husband, who was a passenger in the car, throughout the night, up until five minutes before the accident.

‘I just thought he went to bed or his phone battery died. Never in a million years would I have thought he was involved in an accident, let alone killed,’ she shared.

However, when police officers called to her home at around 2am to deliver the heartbreaking news that her husband had been fatally injured, Kelly then had to explain to her two young children their father was dead.

As Kelly was so early on in her pregnancy, Jarrett died without knowing the sex of the their unborn baby — the appointment to find out was scheduled for the day after his funeral.

Kelly decided to keep the appointment and with her mother and Jarrett’s mom by her side, she learned that she is carrying a boy, due on January 25.

Miracle: Kelly's photographer Jessica Brandau revealed that as they moved locations during the shoot, the rainbows and orbs couldn't have happened accidentally

‘We screamed and cried with excitement and sadness when the ultrasound tech said it was a boy,’ she said. ‘So bittersweet.’

She is planning on calling the baby Jarrett Jr.

To further keep his memory alive, the pregnant mom decided to have maternity photos taken with her two children, and somehow Photoshop Jarrett into the pictures.

‘I want to include him in any way I can for our family and especially Jarrett Jr., since he will never get to have his dad around,’ she explained.

However, she didn’t have to worry as Kelly believes Jarrett made his presence known on the day of the shoot.

In every picture shot by Jessica Brandau, the same photographer who took their wedding pictures, a rainbow appeared just above Kelly’s belly.

‘When I first noticed the rainbow during the shoot, I showed Kelly and immediately got goosebumps and teared up when she told me that they had experienced a miscarriage before becoming pregnant with baby Jarrett, making this their “rainbow baby,”‘ Jessica explained.

Later that night when she uploaded the shoot onto her computer, she said there were rainbows and ‘orbs’ in almost every photo, even though they switched locations during the shoot and the lighting changed.

‘I know that some will chalk it up to lens flare and light refraction,’ Jessica said, ‘but in the time that I have been photographing professionally I have never had it show up as prominently — and in every single photo — the way that it did in Kelly’s photos.

‘I do fully believe that Jarrett was giving Kelly and his babies a sign that he is still with them.’

Kelly, who shares the same sentiment, noted: ‘I had been longing for a sign from Jarrett since the accident. I was really struggling with my faith because of it,’ she said. ‘I feel Jarrett knew I needed this.

‘He would have done anything for me while he was still alive and is proving he still will after he has passed.’
