A couple’s public display of affection has blown up online after the pair were caught kissing in a skillful, but cringeworthy way.

During a beach-side workout routine, the bikini-clad woman shows her strength by doing a push-up over her relaxing beau on the south coast of Sydney.

As she descends with great strength, the woman kisses her partner on the lips in between push-ups as he sunbathes.

The couple are filmed acting out the routine on the ledge of a rock pool in Coledale.

Commenters on the video were torn if the video was cute or too much a public display of affection.

‘What’s wrong with that, I think it is kind of cute,’ one commented.

Other just disliked the act which was posted on Youtube.

The private south coast beach looked near empty despite one grossed out on-looker.
