In February Wolves secured a deal to take the Leyton-born forward back on loan until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Afobe impressed as Wolves secured promotion back into the top flight of English football.

The former Arsenal forward scored 23 goals in 48 appearances during his first spell at Molineux.

Upon his return Afobe struck six goals in 16 league games for the Championship winners.

As part of the loan deal Wolves inserted an option to buy at the end of the campaign, a clause which they will now look to activate.
