According to Nine News, neighbours said Ms Ramadan was living in fear of the squatters who had allegedly threatened to kill her.

‘They told her that they would kill her,’ a neighbour claimed.

Ms Ramadan’s house had also been burgled several times in the last few years, with the most recent incident occurring a few weeks ago.

Homicide detectives are still trying to piece together Ms Ramadan’s last living moments and are treating her death as suspicious.

A post-mortem is yet to reveal the cause of Ms Ramadan’s death, who suffered several injuries to her body.

‘There is some injuries to the lady that obviously we are still looking at,’ homicide Detective Sergeant Graham Ross told reporters, of Saturday’s grim discovery.

‘I’m asking the public if they find anything in their gardens, or that’s out of character that’s not owned by them to come forward and contact police.’

Anyone who saw Ms Ramadan between March 29 and April 6 is urged to speak to police.
