A woman has put her boyfriend on blast after she found a video of him mocking the home-cooked breakfast she had just made for him, outraging viewers who insisted he was ‘ungrateful.’
Jakia Rose, 20, from New York, took to TikTok this week to upload footage of her man taking a swipe at the well-balanced meal, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, and oatmeal topped with cinnamon and green apple slices.
‘This looks like s**t,’ her boyfriend said while filming the breakfast from different angles. ‘But, hey, at least she tried, you know what I’m saying?’

Jakia, who is known as @chikitarosee on TikTok, wrote in the caption that she was ‘crying’ over the clip, which she claimed to have found on his phone.
The TikTok has earned more than 1.1 million views as well as hundreds of comments, many of which came from people who were outraged on her behalf.
‘Girl the day I see this would be the last day I EVER cook for him,’ one woman wrote, saying she wouldn’t care if they were married for 20 years. ‘No more food for you ever sir.’

‘The way he would starve,’ another agreed, while someone else added: He’s just ungrateful. Get a new one boo.’
Jakia responded to some of the comments, saying it was her ‘first time making oatmeal’ when he poked fun at her cooking.
While she seems to have taken the whole thing in stride, she admitted she was ‘crying on the inside while standing next to him, waiting for him to try it.’
One person asked Jakia to send her boyfriend’s reaction to her finding the video, but she explained in a follow-up that he is well aware that she has it.

‘He sent the video right in front of me,’ she said. ‘I was standing in front of him waiting for him to try my food, and that’s what he did.’
As viewers continued to slam her boyfriend, she insisted in the comments that he was only ‘joking’ when he dissed her homemade breakfast.
Jakia also clarified what she meant when she said she had found the footage on his phone after watching him film it.
‘I didn’t know he saved the video,’ she explained. ‘He woke up when I was cracking up sending it to myself.’
