A woman has died after she was allegedly stabbed multiple times at a home in Sydney’s north-west.

Multiple emergency services were called to an apartment block in Ingleby Street, Oatlands at around 4.50pm on Monday.

Police shut down the street as paramedics performed CPR on the injured woman.  

The woman aged in her 30s, was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition but died a short time later.

A man, 25, was arrested at the scene and taken to Granville Police Station, where he’s assisting with inquiries.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia four crews attended the scene, along with CareFlight. 

Police remain at the scene and have launched an investigation into the incident.

A second man is believed to have been at the home at the time of the alleged stabbing.

A second crime scene linked to the alleged attack is being examined in a nearby street.

Police are investigating claims the incident could be been sparked by a suspected love triangle, Nine News reported.
