A wealthy Brisbane suburb has been rocked by the grim discovery of a woman’s body.

A woman’s body was found at the property.

A major crime scene has been established as officers have cordoned off the quiet cul-de-sac, which is now under a heavy police presence.

Forensic officers were seen entering a home.

Shocked neighbours told the Courier Mail the property home to ‘lovely people who mainly kept to themselves’.

The median price for homes in Stretton is more than $900,000 and is home to a population of 4,334, according to the 2016 Census.
