Slim American tourist is left baffled after being sent to plus size clothing stores in Thailand called Fatty Fat Girl and Love Calories
A tourist was shocked when she went shopping in Thailand and was directed to their plus size stores despite wearing a US small.
Andrea, originally from Puerto Rico and Florida and Lewis, originally from Dublin, Ireland, were on holiday in Thailand when they went to a shopping mall to see if they could find some ‘cute clothes.’
The couple live in the US and travel around in an old school bus which they now call home.
They asked a woman there which stores to go to, and she looked Andrea up and down and directed them to the fourth floor, they told their TikTok followers.
However, much to their surprise, the woman had directed them to where the plus size shops were.

Beebee Fat, Moo Moo Fat Girls, Fatty Fat Girl, Love Calories, Fat Cat, were just some of the names of the stores in that sector.
Andrea could not believe what she saw, as she stood there open mouthed.
She said: ‘No! You can’t be out there saying that!’
A rather shocked Lewis reacted to a store called Fat Fashion and said: ‘At least it’s not fast fashion.’
Another clothing store was called ‘Candy Shop,’ to which he also joked: ‘Not them trying to lure you in.’
He added: ‘Andrea just bought something from Moo Moo Fat Girl.’
Andrea then tried on her new purchase – a pink strapless frock – when they got back to their hotel room and it fitted her perfectly.
Lewis said: ‘Step out! Oh my lorddd. Yes girl! Work it.’
In the US, Andrea is a small, which is between sizes 4 and 6, but in Thailand she is a size large.
Some of the stores had shocking names such as Fat Girl, Moo Moo, Candy Shop and Fatty Fat Girl
She claimed that the sizes in these stores started at medium, a whole size smaller than was.
Andrea smiled and said: ‘This is the standard where they’re like, “Yep, starting now you’re moo moo fat girl”.’
The video was viewed more than six million times, liked by more than a million people and racked up over three thousand comments.
People took to the comments and were shocked at what Andrea had experienced, but others said it also happened to them.
