Woman is killed after she stopped to help man who died after his motorcycle collided with an Audi

Two people have died following a horror double collision just metres away from a hospital on Monday night.
Both a male motorcyclist, who’s bike collided with an Audi, and a female pedestrian, who was struck by another vehicle trying to help the motorcyclist, died at the scene.
Emergency services were called to the intersection Boronia Rd and Amesbury Ave in Wantirna, Victoria, following reports of the first collision just after 10pm.

A short time later, a female pedestrian who witnessed the collision was struck by another vehicle who failed to slow down as she attempted to help the motorcyclist.
Other vehicles reportedly stopped to help the female pedestrian and are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are also investigating the incident.
