A woman was left in tears after her date sent her home in an Uber because he didn’t like her outfit – after she spent 40 minutes perfecting the look.
Nikki Jabs, from Michigan, revealed on TikTok that she met a guy named Greg off of the dating app Hinge. She says they hit it off right away and after spending only a few days together, he asked her to move in with him.
Three weeks into their relationship, Nikki explained that he invited her to one of his work functions, and she was so excited to meet his coworkers and friends.
She spent 40 minutes doing her hair and makeup so that she could look nice for the event, but unfortunately, the night ended in heartbreak for her. While getting dinner beforehand, Greg told her that he was ’embarrassed’ by her outfit and that she couldn’t come any more, so he called her an Uber.
The outfit included a pair of high-waisted, paper-bag pants and a black crop top that hardly showed off her stomach.

Nikki Jabs, from Michigan, showed off the outfit that ’embarrassed’ her boyfriend on TikTok, and she quickly went viral for the whole ideal
In a video posted during their first date, Nikki called Greg ‘super sweet.’
‘He seems really shy so I was kind of carrying the whole conversation but eventually it picked up and we’re on our second drink,’ she explained. ‘He thinks I’m the most interesting person he’s ever met and he’s really sweet.’
She said they were ‘really enjoying each other’s time’ so they decided to go back to his house.
‘We talked on the couch all night. He held the conversation just fine after he got over his shyness,’ she added in a second video. ‘He said I was so gorgeous that I made him so nervous.’
After spending an entire weekend together, Nikki, who was living in a van, said Greg told her that he ‘didn’t want it to end’ so he told her she could stay with him indefinitely.
‘It was the best weekend of my life,’ she recalled him saying to her. ‘How did I get so lucky? You’re so incredible and I’m just so lucky to have met you.’
Nikki revealed on the platform that she met the guy, named Greg, off of the dating app Hinge. Right away, they hit it off and he even claimed that he was ‘head over heels in love with her’

She continued, ‘I was like, “I’m not going anywhere.” He goes, “You can stay here as long as you want.” And I was like, “Don’t tell me that because I may never leave.” And he was like, “I’d be okay with that.”
‘All day he was like, “God, I’m just obsessed with you. I can’t get enough of you. And he told me before he went to bed that he was head over heels.’
However, everything changed three weeks later, when Nikki posted an update and revealed that their relationship was abruptly cut short after he sent her home from a date because he wasn’t a fan of what she was wearing.
‘It’s been three weeks. I spent 40 minutes on my makeup to meet his friends and coworkers at a grand opening for the retail company he works for,’ she wrote.
‘He was too embarrassed to be seen with me in this outfit, so he went me home in an Uber and went to the opening without me.’
When viewers asked her to elaborate on what went down, she explained that things had already started to turn sour after he started saying ‘little comments’ about her appearance.
‘It all started with little comments here and there over the past couple of weeks, like, “Why are you wearing heels? I like it when you wear tennis shoes. Why are you wearing so much makeup? I really like it when you’re natural.”‘ she explained.

‘I had a feeling what was coming. I kept asking him, “Why do you keep staring at me?” And he kept saying, “Oh nothing.”
‘Then finally he was like, “You just look so pretty.” And I’m like, “Is this your way of telling me that I’m overdressed?” And he said, “Well, maybe not for dinner.”‘
She added, ‘He has told me multiple times this week that I’ve been overdressed and has encouraged me to wear a baggy sweater.’
‘I said, “Are you going to be embarrassed if I show up to your work function like this?” He didn’t say anything, so I said, “Do you want me to go home and change?”
‘And he said, “I just feel so bad now.” So we went to the restaurant but I was not happy because this has been going on for weeks now.
‘At the restaurant I said, “I’m either going like this or I’m not going at all.” And he said, “Well then can I call you an Uber?” I said, “Sure, yeah, call me an Uber.”
‘I Ubered back to his place, where I’ve been living the past three weeks and I packed up all of my stuff and now I’m back in my van.’
She shared some photos of herself from the ride home, and one of them showed her holding back tears. ‘Currently smiling but also trying not to cry,’ she captioned it
‘I’m just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty,’ she said in another video as she broke down crying. ‘And he sent me home in an Uber. Who does that?’
Afterwards, Nikki said that Greg tried to salvage their relationship, but she was done. ‘He begged me to stay,’ she said. ‘I didn’t have any of it. I didn’t touch him and I didn’t say’
‘He said that this was too revealing for his work function,’ she continued, turning the camera so that the outfit, which showed a small section of her stomach, was on display.
‘Now, the company he works for is an athleisure clothing company. He was wearing [athleisure pants] and running shoes.’
She also shared some photos of herself from the Uber ride home, and one of them showed her holding back tears.
‘Currently smiling but also trying not to cry,’ she captioned it.
Plus, the woman even posted a video that she had taken of herself right after she got home, which showed her breaking down crying.
‘I’m just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty,’ she said as she wept. ‘And he sent me home in an Uber. Who does that? He sent me home with a stranger on a Friday night.’
Afterwards, Nikki said that Greg tried to salvage their relationship, but she was done.
‘When he got home later he called me to tell me I forgot my laptop so I did have to go back. He begged me to stay with him, apologizing and saying he shouldn’t have said anything to me,’ she said.
‘He said, “Actually, you would have been totally fine wearing what you’re wearing right now. I don’t even know why I told you to change.” He tried to hug me, and I didn’t have any of it. I didn’t touch him and I didn’t say.’
