Anna Lee Halderman, 28, of Norwalk, Connecticut was confronted by an angry mom on July 15 for baring her breasts at a Connecticut beach before responding to the concerned parent’s complaint by stripping down to her birthday suit
A topless sunbather confronted by an angry mom for baring her breasts at a public beach in front of a child responded to the complaint by stripping nude, according to police.
Anna Lee Halderman, 28, of Norwalk, Connecticut turned herself into Westport Police on Saturday after a warrant was issued for her arrest, according to Fox 61.
Authorities said they received a July 15 call from a mother with her child at Compo Beach in Westport around 1.30pm. She was complaining about a young woman who was sunbathing with her top off.
Police said the parent told the topless woman she didn’t appreciate her being naked in front of children. At that point, police said the woman, who appeared to be intoxicated, lost her temper and removed her bikini bottoms, baring her butt in front of the mother’s child.

‘The woman allegedly became belligerent and proceeded to remove the bottom portion of her bathing suit exposing her buttocks,’ police said in a Facebook post about the incident. ‘The complainant was with her juvenile child at the time, who apparently witnessed this entire incident. The complainant reported that in addition to her inappropriate behavior this woman appeared to her to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the interaction.’
Investigators later identified the suspect as Halderman, who told police she later apologized and said she couldn’t remember what happened that day.
Halderman was charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace before being released on $50,000 bond. She is scheduled to be arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court on Friday.
