She said: ‘I must admit, I love a big sausage roll but Greggs just isn’t for me, so I make my own.

‘The best way to do it I think is in the air fryer, juts use shop bought pastry, sausages, mustard if you fancy and an egg to glaze.’

Becky first starts by de-skinning the sausages to get the sausage meat out and rolls the pastry out and cuts it in half.

Using gluten-free pastry the blogger added a small amount of mustard explaining that step was optional.

She went onto crimp the edges with a fork to make sure the pastry stays in place she and she cut slashes on top to make sure its cooked through

Becky gave them another glaze wit egg and popped them into the air fryer for 12 – 14 minutes at 200 degrees.

She said: ‘In less than 15 minutes you can have fresh, homemade sausage rolls.’

‘Another thing I really like about making these in the air fryer is that any excess fat drips through the basket so they’re never soggy.’
