Police and emergency services were called to the home on Spains Road about 8.30pm after a firebomb was allegedly thrown through a front window.

The elderly occupant, who was sitting in her lounge room at the time, was able to extinguish the blaze, which caused about $3000 damage, The Advertiser reported.

Police found another Molotov cocktail had been allegedly thrown at the house an hour earlier, but no damage was caused by the first alleged attack.
