A woman was disappointed when she opened a frozen pizza to find half of her toppings missing.

Shannon Ellison shared the shocking realisation on the Woolworths Facebook page, emphasising her disappointment in a cheeky poem.

Ellison wrote: ‘Roses are Red, Sticks are Brown, I expect nothing and I’m still let down.’

Ellison was shocked to open a frozen pizza and find that it was half-covered in toppings (pictured)

Ellison claims she normally purchases her go-to frozen pizza from Aldi but her husband happened to pick up a Family Favourite Hawaiian pizza from Woolworths.

Ellison continues: ‘On the plus side, we had a bag of grated cheese handy and got to enjoy half-Hawaiian half-cheese.’

‘Maybe have a wee looksie into who you’re hiring in the pizza assembly department?’

The picture shows half of the pizza covered deliciously with toppings.

The other half hasn’t moved past the ‘base’ stage of the pizza as it’s merely covered with a tomato sauce.

Ellison admits her own fault in the matter as she often purchases frozen supermarket pizza when she ‘can’t be arsed cooking.’

One Facebook user commented that the pizza destruction was influenced by gravity in the packing process.

‘The toppings fall due to how the boxes are stacked vertically in transit. Stacking them flat and they’d be crushed. The problem here isn’t lazy people… it’s gravity I’m afraid,’ wrote Shan Mc.

Ellison cheekily signed off the Facebook post: ‘xoxo Lazy Shift Workers Everywhere.’

Daily Mail Australia have contacted Woolworths for a comment.
