  • Woman pulled horrified expression and screamed while falling through trap door
  • A slow-motion camera showed whites of her eyes as she plummeted downwards

This is the moment a woman plunged through a trap door hidden in the floor of a lift as the host watched on during a Japanese TV prank show.

She pulled a horrified expression and screamed while falling through the fake floor with her arms outstretched above her head.

A slow-motion camera showed the whites of the woman’s eyes as she plummeted downwards.

The woman was beckoned into the lift by the prank show host, and seemed to know something strange was about to happen

It appears the woman knew something strange was about to happen, although exactly what faced her might have been a surprise.

Another scene shows the same woman going down a slide before ending up on a plastic mat lined with slippery goo.

The woman managed to slide for an impressive 18 yards, which a pair of assistants measured out with a tape measure.

Japanese television is known for its prank shows, perhaps most famously Takeshi’s Castle, which aired between 1986 and 1990.
