Woman reveals she has spent $6,750 on fang implants to continue her ‘dragon girl’ transformation

A woman who temporarily went blind as a result of her obsession with becoming a ‘dragon girl’ has revealed that she has since shaved down her teeth to get crystal fang implants.

Amber Luke, 26, from New South Wales, Australia, has spent over $120,000 (£68,000) on extreme body modifications – including over 600 tattoos, a tongue split, breast augmentation, cheek and lip fillers, pointed implants placed in her ears and a Brazilian butt lift.

The 26-year-old, who boasts over 19,000 Instagram followers, even lost her vision temporarily in 2019 after having her eyeballs tattooed with blue ink.

But it hasn’t put her off the extreme body modification addict and she has now revealed how she has shaving down her natural teeth to replace them with ‘blinged out’ fangs.

She claims to have fallen in love with her smile after covering her mouth with crystals and diamonds totaling $6,750 AUD (£3,834).

‘It’s awesome, I can’t stop looking at them and showing off my teeth – it’s an amazing feeling,’ Amber said.

Amber has covered 98 per cent of her body in ink since developing a tattoo obsession as a teenager and decided to ink her eyeballs in 2018.

The social media star believes that her teeth accent her blue ‘dragon’ eyes, which have become a big hit with her followers.

She explained: ‘I look at my mouth now and I’m like “Holy c***, it’s so icy and “blinged out” and I’m so happy about everything I’ve done to my teeth.

‘I originally got my fangs extended and sharpened but a month later, I wasn’t happy with how short they were.

How body modification addicts have ink injected into their eyeballs to get extreme look

Eyeball tattoos are not like traditional body inkings, which involve ink being injected into the dermis via a machine that delivers thousands of tiny pricks per minute via a needle.

Instead, eyeball tattoos – which were invented by body modification expert Luna Cobra in the early 2000s – are achieved by injecting a small amount of ink under the conjuctiva, which is the thin clear membrane that covers the front of the eye.

The ink spreads under the membrane and colors the sclera (the whites of the eye).

Although Luna Cobra says she has performed hundreds of safe eyeball tattoos, experts still warn against ever undergoing the procedure.

Risks include everything from headaches and blurred vision to permanent light sensitivity and even blindness.

‘I went back and got them extended and sharpened again, which set me back $1,000 AUD (£569) as there was more material used and my private health didn’t cover me as much as they did the first time.

‘My VVS white gold tooth, which is permanent, is fixated next to my fang.

‘It’s a veneer with a flawless pavé finish and cost me $5,000 AUD (£2,849.99) for one singular tooth.

‘They actually made me sign a four-page wavier as they had to shave my tooth down to a nub like a normal veneer.’

As she wanted to make her fangs sparkle, she’s also had Swarovski gems placed to make the teeth ‘iced out’.

She decided to make the irreversible change to her teeth after five years of repeatedly losing the sparkly caps she wore on her fangs.

Amber said: ‘I kept losing or breaking them and went through about ten different pairs of caps for my teeth.

‘These are so expensive each time, so I decided to go for the real thing.

‘I loved the look of it and the aesthetic it gave me.’

She shared the dazzling look in an Instagram video, which racked up 11,000 views and over 1,300 likes.

‘They look soooo good,’ one viewer commented.

Another person said: ‘F*** yessss, they look so dope.’

‘Dope asf,’ a third wrote

A fourth said: ‘Iceeeeey,’ followed by an frozen face emoji.

‘Fantastic attractive Goddess,’ another person added.

However, despite being popular with her 19,000 followers, she has received her fair share of discrimination due to her eccentric look.

Previously, she told about how she’s been ‘hissed’ at in the street and that she feels like an ‘alien’ when walking in public.

‘I don’t know where we went wrong, where our manners went out the door and when our respect for fellow humans went out the door,’ Amber said.

In November 2019, Amber revealed how she went blind for three weeks after undergoing the most dangerous procedure on her eyeballs.

‘I can’t even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like [the tattoo artist] grabbed 10 shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye,’ Amber told Barcroft TV.

‘That happened four times per eye, that was pretty brutal. Unfortunately, my artist went too deep into my eyeball.

‘If your eyeball procedure’s done correctly, you’re not supposed to go blind at all. I was blind for three weeks. That was pretty brutal.’
